Formed in 2006, Surefire Productions is an International collective whose mission is to bring forward thinking electronic music to the listening public. Headquartered in San Francisco, the company has partnered with many worldwide organizations to provide the highest quality events and promotions possible.
Through the influential record shop Pelikan Neck, xxxy picked up on the early forms of dubstep and began focusing his productions on bass heavy garage influenced tracks. Fast forward to the January 2011 xxxy release of You Always Start it/Ordinary Things on Ten Thousand Yen. This increased xxxy’s burgeoning reputation with Pitchfork picking “Ordinary Things” as it’s best new track of the day. As a DJ, xxxy has produced well received mixes for FACT, BBQ & URB as well as playing dates all over the UK and Europe.
Kuedo is Jamie Teasdale, who was formerly one half of groundbreaking dubstep duo Vex’d. While the music of Vex’d is typified by half-step beats and heavy low-end, his music as Kuedo is more akin to the futurist-escapist, dreamlike style of Rustie, Ikonika et al.
Objekt describes his music as adventures in machine music built to make subs rattle and feet wiggle; a convoluted mess of elektrology and teknology, 3-step, bass-core, post windmill, proto-minimal wankstep, gondola, shithouse, acid wonk, no more, no less.
