Nobody throws it down like MartyParty – the South African native now residing in Brooklyn NY has been crushing sold out shows and huge festival stages with his huge bass rich extravaganza. The MartyParty live show is an intense, high energy dance party filled with huge bass drops, synth melodies, massive beats and riddled with dirty hip hop acapellas and one shots he calls his “purple opera”. Entranced, nearly basking in the radiance of R/D’s sound, audiences are swallowed up in his vibrant melodies, pounding beats, and zealous dedication to the craft. Dripping with angst and desire, R/D’s compositions can be at times dizzyingly beautiful, heartbreaking in their melancholy and dancefloor-crushing all at once. For over 17 years, Danny Corn has been on the vanguard of electronic music, leaving the trends to other people. As a DJ, he is known as an instrumental player in the formation of the “west coast” sound. A champion of syncopated, bass heavy music, Danny Corn rides the edge of experimental sounds, whilst staying firmly committed to the dancefloor.
